Cursorlynk operates an SMS messaging program that enables home care agencies to send automated text messages to caregiver applicants about open positions and employment screening.
Opt-In
Caregiver applicants opt in to receive SMS messages by explicitly checking a consent box on an agency's job application page. The consent language on each form reads:
"By submitting this form, I consent to receive automated text messages and calls from [Agency Name] regarding employment opportunities. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. This consent is not a condition of employment."
No SMS message is sent to any individual without this explicit opt-in. Consent records are maintained by Cursorlynk on behalf of each agency.
Types of Messages Sent
Messages sent through Cursorlynk are limited to employment and recruitment content, including:
- Application received confirmations
- Automated quick-screening questions (certification, availability, transportation)
- Follow-up reminders for unanswered screening questions
- Stage-advancement notices such as interview scheduling or credentialing requests
- Direct messages from agency coordinators
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on the applicant's responses and pipeline stage. Applicants typically receive between 2 and 10 messages per application cycle.
Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-Out
Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receipt of STOP, the system immediately flags the number as do-not-contact and no further automated messages are sent. This opt-out is permanent unless the individual explicitly re-opts in through a new application.
Help
Recipients may reply HELP to receive contact information for the agency and a reminder of opt-out instructions.
No Sharing of Mobile Numbers
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile phone numbers collected through the Cursorlynk platform with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver employment-related SMS messages on behalf of the agency that collected consent.
Compliance
All SMS messaging through Cursorlynk complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), A2P 10DLC carrier registration requirements, and applicable CTIA guidelines. Agencies must maintain A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration before live SMS is activated on their account.
